God gave the 10 commandments, and He gave Moses laws also, but there is also many man made laws. That God never gave, and that is why you are feeling down. Read the New Testament. Especially the book of John. God said you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Do your own research, and pray and ask God to guide you to the truth. Satan wants us to be depressed, but God doesn't want it. Lean on God.
