Can i have my JBL P1222's and MTX thunder 4500's hooked up at the same time in my cavalier?

i currently have 2 12" JBL P1222's being pushed by a JBL Gto601.1 amp. But i want to hook up my old MTX Thunder 4500's and use my JBL Gto 500 watt amp to push those. Do you see any potential problems with distortion or anything like that? And what extra equipment would i need if it is a good idea?Thanks
